Hi, I’m Josie, and this is my side hustle story.
When I was a child, I was always looking for some way to be entrepreneurial. My dream was to make it on Shark Tank (though I never accomplished that). I was running lemonade stands, babysitting, sewing projects to sell, and selling baked goods. It’s no surprise that I decided to get an MBA.
In college, I realized that I wanted to make some income in a flexible way. I started to mystery shop as a student, using it as an opportunity to go out to eat for free with my then-fiancé and make a little bit of money.
Over the summer, there was a gap between when I graduated and when I started my full time job. I needed money, so I got creative. I started looking for multiple side hustles that would get me through the month. I babysat, delivered groceries, took surveys.
Even when I started my full-time job, I still had need for side hustles. I had just gotten married and we were both at the intern level. I started posting content on social media seriously.
Now I’m here. More financially stable, but with big goals to pay off debt. My dream is to one day be able to use my side hustles as full-time income. I know there are a lot of people like me out there.
That’s who I want to help. The stay-at-home mom who needs a little more income. The college student who’s paying the bills herself. The woman who feels trapped in her debt.
I want to try these things alongside you and show you what I learn as I do it.
